Stop posting into the void.
Start with a plan.

Your team is putting in the effort. The emails go out, the posts go up, the newsletter eventually gets done. But without a strategy behind the effort, it's just activity — and activity doesn't build trust or move donors to act.

The 90-Day Communications Blueprint gives you a complete, custom plan built around your mission, your audience, your budget, and your actual capacity. So your team knows what to do — and why it matters.

Sound familiar?
  • You have good intentions for communications but no real structure behind them. Every week starts with "what should we post?"

  • Your team is stretched thin. Nobody owns communications — it's everybody's job, which means it's nobody's priority.

  • You're heading into a big season — year-end, a campaign, an awareness month — and you don't have a plan yet.

  • You've tried editorial calendars before. They lived in a spreadsheet for two weeks and then died quietly.

  • You know your communications could be better. You just don't know where to start or what to prioritize.

This isn't a document that lives in a drawer. It's a working plan — specific enough to open on a Monday morning and know exactly what to do.

What's in the blueprint

Six components, all built specifically for your organization. Not a framework you fill in yourself — something I build for you, grounded in your mission, your audience, and real data about what's resonating in your cause area right now.

01
audience profile

Who you're actually talking to — what they care about and what moves them to act

02
channel strategy

Where to show up and how often — matched to your audience and real capacity, not a wish list

03
content themes

4–6 recurring pillars that give your team creative direction without a brief every week

04
Campaign Structure

Key moments mapped across 90 days with messaging direction for each

05
month -by-month roadmap

A week-by-week execution plan — what to publish, when, on what channels, toward what goal

03
trend & keyword brief

What's resonating in your cause area right now — language and topics your audience is actively engaged with

how it works

01 - Discovery session, 60 minute meeting

I start with listening. Your goals for the next 90 days, your upcoming calendar, your capacity, your audience, what's worked, what hasn't. I come prepared with specific questions — you bring the honest answers.

02 - Research & analysis

Audience profiling, trend and keyword analysis for your cause area, a review of your current channels and content. I use AI-assisted tools to gather the data — then apply strategy experience to interpret what it means for your specific organization.

03 - Blueprint build

I write the full strategy — all six components — tailored to your org, your voice, your budget, and what your team can realistically execute. No filler. No generic advice.

04 - Delivery walkthrough, 60 minute meeting

We walk through the blueprint together. I explain the thinking behind each decision, answer your questions, and make sure your team leaves knowing exactly how to use it.

05 - 30-day check-in, 30 minute metting

A month in, we reconnect. How's execution going? What questions have come up? What needs adjusting? Included in the two upper tiers.

this is for you if

You're heading into a high-stakes season
Year-end giving, a major appeal, an awareness month — any moment where showing up consistently actually matters. The Blueprint gives you a running start.

You just went through a brand refresh or new website
You finally have assets that reflect who you are. Now you need a plan to use them — before the momentum from the launch fades.

A new person just took over communications
Whether it's a new hire or a role shift, starting with a clear strategy beats inheriting a mess of scattered tactics and trying to reverse-engineer a plan.

You've been inconsistent and want to get structured
Not because you haven't tried — because you haven't had a plan worth sticking to. That's what this fixes.

Choose Your Scope

I work exclusively with nonprofits. I know what your budget cycles look like, I know what a board conversation about consulting fees sounds like, and I've built these tiers around what organizations like yours can actually spend. A generalist consultant billing hourly for this scope of work typically runs $3,000 or more. These prices aren't discounted out of charity. They're set because I know the sector, I've worked inside it for 20 years, and I built this service specifically for it.

A few things people ask

Is this a template or is it actually custom?
It's custom. Every component is written specifically for your organization — your audience, your programs, your calendar, your capacity. If it feels like something you could have downloaded from a marketing blog, I haven't done my job.

What if we can only post once a week?
Then the plan reflects that. Capacity is one of the first things I ask about in the discovery session. A plan your team can't execute isn't a plan — it's pressure. We build for what's real.

Does this include writing the actual content?
The Blueprint gives you direction, themes, and messaging guidance — but not the finished posts, emails, or copy. If you want someone to write it, that's a content retainer conversation. Some clients do the Blueprint first, then add content support. Others use the Blueprint to empower their own team.

How is this different from the Brand Ecosystem Audit?
The audit looks backward — it tells you what's working and what isn't across your brand. The Blueprint looks forward — it tells you what to do in the next 90 days. They're complementary. Some organizations do both; others start with whichever question is more urgent right now.

What size organization is this for?
Best fit for nonprofits with small-to-mid communications capacity — typically 2–40 staff, where one to three people own communications alongside other responsibilities. The plan is built around what that looks like in practice, not what a fully staffed marketing team could do.

how this fits with other services

The Blueprint tells you what to do. If you need the brand foundations in place first, start with the Brand Ecosystem Audit. If you want to understand how your communications compare to peer organizations, add the Landscape Review. And if you need someone to execute the campaign the Blueprint identifies — that's where a campaign design engagement begins. Most clients find a natural path through more than one of these.

Ready to have a plan?

We start with a discovery session — 60 minutes where I listen and you talk. From there, I do the work. You'll have your Blueprint within two weeks.
